Twinge- a sudden, sharp localized pain

I am the last thing you think of in the whole world

I can not find a way to get your attention because I am not so bold

But I promise you I am really hurt

You cut and tear my skin what you call dirt

You have a day for me every year

But you do not even dare to clean me up my dear

You have a recycling bin but instead you use me

If only you knew how I have treated you human beings

I treated you guys like kings

You guys step over me like a bug

The least you can do is care for me like your old rug

My waters are filled with more trash than fish

At this point do not call my water ocean call it a dish

The sun is killing me

And you are billing me

Billing me for all the damage you caused

Give me a moment and pause

Look at all you done to me

You are so cruel and mean

The center of me twinges

It twinges for vengeance

Careless humans

Ungrateful men

I ache

When will you stop for Christ sake

The smoke you make burns the protection I have for you

The protection from the flaming sun

Once it’s hurt enough I promise it can not be undone

Treat me well

I don’t want your plans for the future to fail

I promise you humans I will not bail

I will be your firm ground

Just promise me you will not let me down

We are bound together

That is how we can be better
