Knowing that someone special was taken by some sort of car accident what a horror

I hope God does not open that door

I would not wish that on anybody

This car accident ended my cousins body

All because the driver was reckless

After the crash the truck driver looked lifeless

On July 4th

I try to forget that horrible memory under tons of dirt

He was supposed to be amazing since birth

But all his dreams ended because of that curse

Reckless driving is dangerous

But you still think it is ok and laugh endless

The causes of car accidents are always phones

Maybe even draws

Always lights

Or maybe even fights

Arguments in the car

do not take you really far

Missing lights

Will take you to long hikes

Long hikes in prison

Imagine saying bye to your son

But this time forever

I know the truck driver will regret not having lights forever

Imagine looking at your cousin in his hospital bed

And on the way their scared that he might be dead

Imagine how it feels to still be alive when you were in the car that night

My cousin was able to take his sisters out of site

That was before he died

All because the truck driver did not have functioning lights

Please check your lights

You do not want to be apologising at court with that mic

do not drink and drive

Do not use your phone even on a red light

You are risking your life
